BIRTHSTONES

JANUARY - GARNET 

Available in a multitude of colors from red, green, blue, all the way to brown.

FEBRUARY - AMETHYST

Always in the purple hues.

MARCH - AQUAMARINE

Ranging in color from the lightest blues to a crispy sky blue

APRIL - DIAMOND

Diamonds are available in almost every color!  The most popular color is white.  While whiter is better with Diamonds, the most expensive per carat diamonds would be red or blue since they are rare!

MAY - EMERALD

Emeralds are known to be green.  From the most vivid green and everything in between.

JUNE - ALEXANDRITE OR PEARL

Alexandrites are said to be "Emerald by day and Ruby by night" often because they change colors.   Pearls on the other hand don't change colors but are available from white to Black, with some of the most luxurious pearls being a slightly pinkish hue!

JULY - RUBY

The most expensive Ruby is known as "Pigeons Blood" due to its thick lucious red hue. These gems come in many shades of red, evening bordering close to purple.

AUGUST - PERIDOT OR ONYX

Although not as well known for their greens as Emeralds, Periodot comes in many shades of green with a bit of yellow in it.

SEPTEMBER - SAPPHIRE

Known for being a transparent, rich blue and is one of the most beloved gemstones.

OCTOBER - OPAL

A unique gem with a play of color that provides an explosion of colors.  There are solid opals too, but the most prized ones are generally black with a lot of red play of color!

NOVEMBER - TOPAZ OR CITRINE

Topaz is available in almost every color imaginable!  It is often a lower cost alternative to the forementioned gems, and just as beautiful!  Citrine available as the name suggests, in the orange and yellow hues.

DECEMBER - ZIRCON OR TURQUOISE

Zircon is available in many shades from blue, green, yellow, to purple.  Turquoise generally blue to green in color.  Widely used throughout the Southwestern United States
